hi all

i know there's a few states in the usa that have legalized online poker, but seems to me that its certainly isn't moving very fast at all. and especially where there's no casinos already or Indian reservations. has any one heard if the usa is even working on other states and if they'll ever legalize it.

Also i have seen a lot of non usa sites closing shop. kinda seems like its not really moving forward anymore.

As an European, this is my first thought:

"Guns? Mwuah, okay. Poker? No freakin' way!"

Here in my country (brazil) poker is beginning to be discussed between our politicians, unfortunately it is still seen as a game of chance, but we have a big names from this sport that are fighting to change it.

ya i think it will never be what it was untill thees online companys just take a stand against are goverment on the online poker issue. like find a decent country to set up in then just allow whoever to play. no country is going to go to war over it especially to a decent country taht can stand up for it.

I think it totally sucks that there is only one GOOD poker site still running and it is only available in the US in LV and NJ. The sense of that makes no sense to me. Let's choose the two places in the US where the most live gambling takes place and ONLY allow ONLINE gambling in those locations.

???
