Online Poker buddies .

Whats good with everyone ? I was looking for some " online poker buddies " , a few people I can discuss hands with and so on . I just started getting the hang of the game(NL hold'em) . It would be a great advantage to hear from other players on different plays and tactics. PM if interested .

It'd be neat if we could have a section where members could post that they're interested in hooking up with others (of similar interest & level of ability)... ie. a 'study buddy thread'. I've seen this sort of thing on another forum & it seemed quite popular (where members were able to look for others who specifically played similiar stuff...ie. "I'm multi-tabling the $16's (sng/stt) on Stars & am looking for others to hook up with, discuss HH's, interesting spots, etc."

OP - Hope you're able to find some others here to hook up with.

Live chat?

A live chat feature would be great. Members could talk to one another in live time. Posting is fine but you have to back and visit that to post to reply or see comments. Live would be better for sure. That may cut into posts if the live was available, I don't know. Post numbers would go down? One could post info and get a response right away. Maybe a live chat box will come in the future?

I have always thought that having a chat room for the forum would be a great idea.Yeah we can do AIM or MSN or Skype or whatver else but having the chat right here as part of the site would make it that much more connected, centralized if you will, in my opinion.

This seems like a really cool idea

what if we had different sections for different levels of play like micro study buddy or MTT study buddy

and maybe have a mentoring programme for the lower level guys to get help from the higher rollers

will keep a check on this one seems a good idea

It always nice to have friends to talk too. But it can hurt if you are at the table together. Makes sure you work that out first.
