I would just like to say that i believe that with the chris moneymaker wsop win online poker has taken a turn for the worst.I have been playing poker online for about 6 years and i have never seen so many sites that i loved playing at go the way of the idiot, you can not find a good game or even risk playing in any tournys cause the out come is always the same, the guy who is willing to play anything no matter what it is will always win in most cases. And i am afraid that until we get back to the way online poker was 5 years ago,in 5 years or less all you will have playing on these sites are people who do nothing but play freerolls.I truely love the game of poker but i will no longer play online, i cannot handle losing to a 7 3 offsuit when i have pocket aces cause the guy im playing just doesnt know or just doesnt care what he plays.thank you

I have to agree with you Rick. Even in the three years (or so) that I've been playing online, I notice a big difference in the types of players you'll find. It can be really irritating and frustrating at times. But in the long-run, skill will win out over luck. Right??? :D

I agree even though I just played online for a year or so. Sometimes I feel the skills out there are just useless. The way I'm learning to play from this site and from freinds I just can't do it only if I get to the final table once maybe the skills will be me effective. There has to be a site started where only veterans play but who's to think of the determination of one.

I mean for just veterans or a certain age group over 30yrs old.

This TV poker syndrome is the reason I don't play much Hold'em anymore. For the past 2 months I've played mostly stud with some draw, and the HORSE events at Fulltilt. Folks that play stupid in stud games are your friend and the lucky catches happen much less frequently. With the exception of the games at KS, most of the stud games on line are filled with folks that play "properly" and you can actually use a little skill now and then to win...

I don't disagree with what you're saying, the recent surge in poker -- specifically Texas Hold 'Em -- has swelled the online sites, and especially freeroll and low-buyin tournaments, with tons and tons of hyper-aggressive players. Skill is supposed to win out over luck in the end, but put enough of these guys on a table and it's tough to win without a heavy dose of luck.

HOWEVER, that said, I will say this:

New players are healthy for any activity. Sure, in the short run there things are chaotic and it's hard to find a "good" game, and it's tough to improve one's game playing against such people. But, give things time to shake out, for people to bore of the endless freerolls, and for the small bankrolls of the semi-interested players to run out, and I think you'll find not only are we back to business as usual, but the good players who picked up the game during this bull run and stick around will bolster our numbers for years to come.

Maybe that's me trying to have a positive attitude, but that's how I see it.

This is spot on. You have to expand your game to a broader width. 7 card is a lot less luck. Yes you can still catch, but if you know what you are looking for from the get go then your hand is off and running. As for the decline of on line hold'em, I agree, but this just makes you figure out how to out last the suck outs. Once you do I think you will see there are still poker PLAYERS out there.:)

Hey look, don't go picking on us newbies. I am new to the game and yes, when I first started out I would have had no qualms in playing a 73o but, now I am learning, I would never, ever play such a hand unless of course I was BB and everyone limped in. I am learning and getting better by the day but give it time.

Perhaps you should try limit or no-limit cash tables instead of tourneys? I can see why beginners would play junk hands in a tourney as there isn't any risk of losing a lot of money.

try SwC poker...it's a 100% bitcoin site...freerolls to get the non depositor started...but rather 'old school'. Very small player pool compared to stars, party, 888, etc etc. The hyper aggro donks don't last long there ;)

Hi, Bitcoin is the fastest way to withdrawal your funds, however the ETA depends on many factors, for example if you already verify your account or not, the workload and pending cashout request before yours, the processors time, etc.

We are working on all cash outs requests we have on queue, please keep in mind that all cash outs have a processing time frame of 24 hours and might take up to 15 business days to be processed.

I always play, and for 10 years here in Venezuela there are no casinos, there are but they are very far from where I live.
