Haven't played live yet, waiting on warmer weather, but I imagine live will be better as I can see my opponent and try to get a read on them.

Online's good, tells are lacking. I like the anxiety of live play.

Id have to say its rather up in the air, in my experience people seem to play better in person and not these "all in donkey fest" that we see in online poker rooms. But at the same time, there is way more action and money to be made online and not to mention convenient. :icon_sunn

I play online every day but playing live brings me much more fun. The reason is that i like to irritate with my opponents. I love the see fear in their eyes. It`s easy to read bluffs on live games as online games are just like u play with perfect pokerfaces.

I play both, but prefer online. In live sometimes I can't hold my emotions. I think it's because of lack of experience.

I prefer live, even though there aren't any casino's here in Puerto Rico that offer PLO and PLO8 (that I know of), and not really that many that offer Texas Hold 'Em. I did like playing with my neighbors when I was younger, but we don't play anymore, or communicate much.

Online, because i just can't handle live poker professionally, 2 hours ok, 3 hour tournament, ok 5 - 6 hours and it gets aggressive and nasty and i look like i shit my pants from stress after few very very risky plays(every play seems risky then)

but in online i no one knows i am stressed out and i can smoke shit, drink shit, eat shit, be naked even and in my warm home ;P

Online accommodates my lifestyle. In the morning I, can look forward to getting comfortable in my favorite chair and sipping coffee while I log into the tournaments I plan to enter for the day. I make my best decisions with zero distractions, so a casino atmosphere isn't ideal. That said, on a night out with friends, I'll cut my working bankroll in half and head to commerce of the bike.

I like live home games, which are usually 1/2. The closest casino is 3hrs away but the wife and I will do the comped room and meals, slots, blackjack, 1/2 for me, and maybe a MTT early evening.

However, for every hour that I get to play live I probably have 15-20 hours online. It is convenient and there for you when you want to play.

Depending on the importance of the stakes.

Playing live it's better to give false impressions to confuse the players. The live players i have played were with my friends, and there are some restrictions in the way you play. It's funny because you can't play with total freedom in enviroments like that. Considering that i prefer to play online, besides i play whenever i want.

Live is great, but, 4.5 hrs away. Have to play online mostly, though.

Iv'e been playing poker now for 7 years, most of it online. On the 5 times I decided to play live, I made the final table every time.
Either I'm better than I think I am or everyone else sucks (probably the latter)
Won more online, but there is a certain buzz about playing live so why not do both?.
