I'm more of a live player, but play online when I get bored or want to practice a new strategy. This is a hand I played on cake during my previous session of .25/.50 NL 6-max. Pretty aggressive player behind me, and I put him on AK the whole way...

Great hand!...Kinda scary though isn't it for a guess?? How could you keep raising knowing every possible pair beat your twos??

I wasn't the raiser... I just called.

I knew he was an aggressive player because he was always betting and betting big. I also had some time tells on him as to how long he took to make his decisions when he had something or he didn't...

I trusted my read that he was on big cards and was trying to move me out of the hand - and called him down with a pair of deuces - and I was right.

It worked out pretty well for you but you must have been pretty certain about his AK to stay in this hand. Maybe you had a good read on him from previous hands but I just cannot see how I could have justified staying in the hand. It was a good no a great read and all credit to you.

I don't care what anyone says, calling J2 preflop and calling all the way to the river without a godlike read with a pair of deuces is atrocious no matter how you look at it. This is simply a hunch turned right, definitely not a right play. Not to defend the other guy's spewy line, which I still prefer over yours...
