That's poker. It sucks, but have had that happen to me, not often, but it happens. I also did this to someone live at a ft once in a $750 mtt, she was pissed! We both had QQ, we both go all in pf, and I hit a flush in hearts with my Q's. It happens.

Nice hand, but the sickest hand I've ever seen was during the WSOP ME, I believe it was '08. Aces vs KQ suited (not sure if it was KQ...). Anyways, river gives one guy quad aces and the other a royal. Nice way to go out, eh?

Yeah I have had same pair vs someone and lost or won to flush also, and I once had AQs va AQo and the AQo hit running flush vs me lol. I just used to see online poker is rigged threads sometimes, and think people who post those need to watcha a vid like this.

I've seen similar scenarios online on many occasions. It's actually not that uncommon - well, AA vs AA maybe - but I've seen that at least on 2 other occasions in the past 6 months. I've seen it with AK at least 3 times, and AQ another 3-4 times. Not that rare if you play a lot of poker, imo.

I'm not sure what the math of having an identical hand as somebody and catching four to a flush. I think the TV puts it somewhere around 4-6% iirc. (Don't get ESPN or fast internet in Iraq, and I'm far too lazy to type in "poker calculator").

Seems like it happens a lot more than that though, doesn't it? Of course, I only have like . . . 5-6 hands on record of matched pocket pair versus other matched pocket pair in my live game library...

Which has been ruined by alchohol. Or . . . improved by it.

I've gone AA vs. AA once, and I won it with a flush... wasnt black vs. red though we had one of each... its pretty funny if you win and pretty sick if you lose i guess...

With pocket pairs it's about 2% or less, with big draws = AK, AQ it's slightly higher.

Yeah i remember Sammy Farha joking that he was 'ahead' with AKo against AKs on a episode of High Stakes Poker because he had two suites to draw flushes from... I remember 2% from that it was funny. I think AKs was 8 percent to win preflop? not sure.

I wont say its rigged, but i only see that kind of things happen in online poker, not live
It happens to me to have 3 or 4 times consecutive the same hand, or 3 or 4 players with poker pairs, etc

I had that happen to me with same hand in live game and online. i aslo had same scenario with KK vs KK. It is very rare and it happens. Just like the 1st hand in the wsop 2008 where AAAA lost to royal flush. maruchi flop set Aces, phillips had KJ d and gets card card for royal flush.

LOL i remember that it was hilarious, Phillips sees Ray Ramano from everybody loves raymond and is like, 'heyyyy you're the guyy from that showwwww, i love raymerrrrrrr' and the announcers are like, 'he loves greg raymer?'

u should play the ten cent Ik guarantee on full tilt ...it seems like almost every day i play I see a hand thats dominated catch a two outer on the flop then lose to a one outer on the river .....i swear some hands you see paly out youd believe the isht is rigged specially when you see two outers all day long which you will see if you play in a full tilt cash game long enough
