Omaha vs Texas Holdem

Not really new to poker.... but was getting a feel for what other players preferred on these sites... omaha or texas? Also noticed betonline has some sweet windfalls

I like Omaha. More math involved in later streets. There usually equity makes folding almost a mistake if you get in good. In Hold em more skill in reading the players tendency and what range hole cards and more bluffs Just my 2 cents

Tried Omaha, didn't like it, left preference for Hold'em

Played Omaha only in freerolls and couple times in tournaments before, last was probably couple years ago. I prefer Texas Holdem due to less dispersion than in Omaha and it is more suitable and comfortable to play for me.

i love Omaha but not simple , i like Omaha Hi/lo is more fun and more fish on this game , easy to make money

I like Omaha Hi-Lo a lot. I don't know why I don't play it more often. Usually playing Holdem.

Windfall? Never heard of that.

I love omaha, specially omaha 5-card. It’s so much more fun and always has a lot of action. I wish it could have better omaha GTD tournaments.

I like to play No Limit Hold'em, but sometimes I play Omaha.

Holdem. I don't even play Omaha

I tried omaha but holdem is simpler so I like holdem more. But I think holdem itself is a good balanced game. I play it because it's most popular game. I think Badugi or 7 card stud is standard and much more "poker" poker game.

I think there is no doubt, the vast majority prefer holdem but beware that Omaha has its charm when you understand it well

Was observing zoom plo on pokerstars and it’s impossible to bluff or get players to laid down their hands. The equity is too close together Even at the river

I always liked Omaha, I always believed I understood more about the variant than Holdem, the problem is that the numbers say the opposite, other than that, I still prefer omaha!

I love Omaha hilo and, in particular, courcheval. However, with the huge number of possible hands in Omaha the variance swings can be a little overwhelming at times so I prefer holdem at higher stakes. Despite the variance I find the challenge of winning at Omaha a lot of fun.

Hello. I have never tried Omaha. Love Holdem.

I like both holdem and omaha. I prefer holdem because is more flexible game and more simple. Omaha is more limited in its rules.

It´s also Omaha exciting.
But I prefer Hold´em.

I definitely prefer Texas Hold'em, but sometimes I also play Omaha Hi/Lo. Omaha is kind of interesting to me, but not as a Hold'em.

Love omaha, HI/LO aswell more thinking in the game and i just do better in those than in holdem, feels like i get less badbeats or something..

What about the other games though?
Razz,horse,8-game,badugi,2-7lowball,?

^love playing these aswell but not much of those around only a few on stars
wish they added more or did a special event only for those type of games!

I used to play Omaha because there is more chance of catching something in Omaha, but now I only play Hold'em so it's better
