Omaha high-low was one of my favorite games. My strategy was to play for the low or for the strongest high possible, like full house or a flush.
This is a very interesting game, because it's rich of different possibilities, and also because the game is all the time sharp. You are never bored, even if you play 10 hours!
I was sad to not find this game in the casino I was playing in.

I agree with you, it is a great game. I have only been playing it a short time but i really enjoy it. There is just so much action in this game it is crazy, your never bored playing it. It can be a tricky game to play though, so you have to always be on top on your game while playing, its so easy to make a huge mistake.

And always remember the golden rule for most split games: Play to scoop.

Otherwise you often just get your money back (plus a little extra) or risk to lose the whole pot.

Unless you think you are the only one to draw to the high or the low in a multi-way pot do not go for only high or low. Unless the flop is all high of course. Or you can bluff one player out of his share when HU.

If it is a full ring game (especially live) go for the nut hands almost exclusively.

Short handed online it gets a little more complex often.

omaha hi lo is right up there in my top 3 poker games. different type of calculations and logic than nlhe. can also be extremely frustrating if you're not used to the types of players that end up playing. still, a great game if you want variety

I agree it's a great game, and the one I prefer by far. However, it does get boring for me after a couple of hours of constant misses.

Many consider this game a simple and easy, play A2 and all the works )), I used to think so too, but not so simple all the subtlety of the game is the carve-up of the bank, generally, players are also playing A2 at showdown is what you will receive not 50% bank and 25% in the beginning of the tournament it's not so bad, but at the end of the tournament win 25% of the bank can be a loss and elimination from the tournament LOL, the winner is the loser, it's funny right ?

I played it and I didn’t really like the rules, because at some moments when I had a strong and senior winning combination and the other player didn’t have a match on the table, it took and divided the bank in half, so now I don’t play such a game I prefer to play regular Omaha
