I too am a victim of tenbob's sleepytime massacre. Is there a support group for us here?

That would be a good thread to start in the bad beat section, "Support Group for bad beats from Tenbob".

But in my defense, my JJ ran into his QQ, not exactly rags.

But believe it or not, that was one of the funnest freeroll MTT's I have ever played in. Hardly any sit outs and actually happy that I lost with Pocket 44's to his J,Q.

I wouldn't confuse the word 'donk' with 'twat'. A common mistake.

You have been around the block enough to know this annoys people. Yet you still do it at a forum event. You claim you are tired, but still with 9 mins to go and only 15 people registered (it needs 20 people to start) it is funny that you are the one who is deperately posting the password in order to get the event started. (see thread below)

Cardschat doesnt go overboard with banner adverts or full-on sales, therefore it makes its money mainly through its aff. links. When us newbies join through these links we dont really expect a senior member to knowingly spoil the game for many of us. It sort of puts me off (personally) from playing too many Titan cash games, knowing that it is adding funds to a forum where a senior member behaves like this.

Play poker or dont play poker at all. Dont spoil it for newcomers who actually want to play.

Fair enough point. Personally i played for the craic.

Edit: Couldnt be arsed argueing with a freeroller

Alright, Alright,

Take it easy now! The fact is Tenbob "never" plays in the free rolls! I put a message out for him to register in it so it would not get cancelled! He told me he wasn't going to play, that he would just "sit out" and go to bed! Just so the FR would not get cancelled! Then, out of the kindness of his heart, he posted the PW for all to see! He said it wasn't fair not to tell the new people! Well, he ended up playing a few hands and accumulated a nice stack. All the while telling us, "I'm tired, I'm gonna donk off my chips and go to bed". The hand posted here is soooooo funny to me, He even told me what he had on the chat! I figured it was a great time to double up. It didn't work out so well though!;)

Just a nother note, I stayed and whatched the rest of the action and had a blast! I was laughing my butt off! :D

Lucas, He was having fun, Sorry if he left a bad taste in your mouth! Hopefully you will come back to the next one! Remember, even though he does not play like that, It is a strategy for some people in freerolls to go all in!

Posted this before Tenbobs!

Oh no how dare tb actually want to make sure the event runs!

...and dude, it's a freeroll. Chill. People who get incredibly worked up over freerolls amuse me. Ever hear the saying "You get what you pay for"? It applies here.

I'm not even going to touch on asking why someone essentially wanting to give everyone chips 'spoils the game', either. Do you often get annoyed when people try to hand you money?

I'm also not going to touch on how it's people's rights to play however they want, and that you sound nearly as silly as that one guy who was lobbying for some sort of 'ban everyone who goes all-in in the first few levels' rule a few months ago.

Oops, I just did. :(

Seriously, in the weeks when the freeroll is full from what I've heard (I never play them myself) the play is just as 'bad'. If you want a 'good' game, shove a bit of money into Titan and play the real $ tourneys. Like I said, you get what you pay for.

I think he was using the surrender strategy.

"I'm tired. What's this? 2, 4 and an all in? I'm pratically a lock to lose. Oh Sh*t! I won. Damn, I need to go to bed! So, this is what it feels like to be a donk."

He would actually fold good hands. He folded QQ once and I think an AK as well. He wasnt just going all-in every hand, only the bad ones. The fact that his 15 victoms got extremely unlucky was not his fault. Maybe you all need to stop walking under ladders or something. :D

Maybe later on.. but he woke up with some huge hands earlier. I was there for his first double-up though.. he had like 56s or something i don't remember what he hit but that started the whole run.. i believe he may have tripled up on that one actually.. or maybe the next all-in was his triple up. Oh well.

In my defense, I did go out on a hand he was all-in on but.. i don't think he won that hand.. i had something like A9 hit the 9 on the flop.. was ahead of everyone, then the Ace came on the river for 2pair but made someone's flush.

He would actually fold good hands. He folded QQ once and I think an AK as well. He wasnt just going all-in every hand, only the bad ones. The fact that his 15 victoms got extremely unlucky was not his fault. Maybe you all need to stop walking under ladders or something. :D

you know lucas all you have to do is play your game and cards and it doesnt matter if someone goes all in i was on the table with tenbob and i knew chances were he was going all in so i played my cards that way he probable saved my butt because i didnt chase anything i had the cards or didnt play and he told everyone what he was doing was a very good tournament
