I've got to try this! It's taken from a dismantling of www.cheat-at-poker.com website on http://mypokerroom.blogspot.com/2005/05/online-poker-cheating-scam-exposed.html

If you've got the time read both (it turns out claims are not as good as they seem!!!). I just had to copy out the "Force Fold" technique though. You wait til next freeroll!!!!!!

Cheat #3: The Force Fold
The force fold technique is actually a collection of
psychological and mind manipulation techniques that can be applied to
your opponents with devastating effect. The purpose of these
manipulations is of course to get your enemies at the table to act in
the way in which YOU desire.
This includes folding a superior hand but can also include raising
when you are holding the nuts. Most of these techniques have been
borrowed from psychology and were not invented by me. Please
practice them because once they are mastered they will give you a
massive edge at the table that will translate into big bucks for you!
The first technique is a little something call linguistic blinds and
they are as sly as they come. They are simple to use and understand
yet massively effective at the table. The key to binds is to use the
language of choice to create the impression that you are offering a
choice when really are forcing one course of action on the receiver of
the bind.
The basic structure of the bind is to ask someone if they would
like to take action 1 or action 2. The magic is that both action 1 and
action 2 are the same thing only worded differently in order to give off
the illusion of choice.
An example of how to use this while playing online poker would
be as follows: You are dealt 10,J hole cards and the flop comes Q,K,3
you decide to take a chance at play out the hand till the end. The turn
and river come and are 5,7 leaving you with nothing. Your opponent
has been betting hard the entire time and you are sure he has you
beat but you have already put so much of your money into the pot you
do not want to fold. So instead you ask him through the chat box:
“Would you like to fold or would you prefer to just give up?”
You get it both options really mean the same thing i.e. to fold his
cards yet if he does not like his first choice he will subconsciously
decide on the second one!
What makes this technique work is the word OR. It implies that
someone is offering the opposite of something. It really does work
believe me. Another way in which you can try this is to ask someone:
“Are you going to raise the pot or just go ahead and bet?”

GENIUS!!!!! (and only $60!!!!).

Wow, is that 'technique' stupid or is it moronic?

There's more funny stuff too. :)

Well you must be dying to know how you can use this at the
online poker table already right. Well here are three examples I use all
the time:
To convince your opponent to raise:
“Raising now would really make you a poker genius”
To convince them to fold:
“Folding you cards will make you a poker master”
To convince then to call:
- 16 -
No Rules Poker By Ken Chan
“If you were to call now you would really be making use of the pot
odds”

You'd have to use the force fold to GET to the final table, so maybe it will start using some of it's value. Doesn't say that on the website though.

lol @ bump of old thread.

Though I have proof from today that it works!

pokerstars (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with Ah, 8c, Ad, 6s. SB posts a blind of 25.
UTG calls, 1 fold, MP1 calls, MP2 raises, MP3 raises, CO calls, Button calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, UTG calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: 3c, Ts, Ac (7 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, MP3 bets, CO calls, Button calls, Hero calls, UTG calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls.

Turn: 3h (6 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, MP2 checks, MP3 bets, CO calls, Button calls, Hero raises, UTG calls, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button calls.

River: Qd (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG folds, Button calls.

Final Pot:

Results below:
Hero has Ah 8c Ad 6s (High: full house, aces full of threes).
Button has 2d Qh 4d 4c (High: two pair, queens and threes).
Outcome: Hero wins .

Here's the chat from the hand!

MP3 said, "wow, check raising in limit ?"
MP3 said, "this early ?"
MP3 said, "thats kinda exciting"
I said, "why not? :)"
I said, "i knew you'd bet"
MP3 said, "WOW"
MP3 said, "you did ?"
I said, "my hand sucks tho, i'm just trying to get you all to fold"
MP3 said, "next time we have a better hand, and your battleship is sunk"
I said, ":)"

So as you can tell, by saying my hand sucked, I got the guy with a crappy 2 pair to call me to the river!

(Note: The donkish play has nothing to do with the fact it was a freeroll, I'm sure)

I couldn't resist pulling sort of one in Cardchat tourney yesterday. People were discussing how to play small pairs. I typed "I'll show you how to play small pairs" and went all in. Opponent thought for ages and then folded (he said he hadn't read what I typed though).
