I thought I had pre-registered for the OFC, but I cant seem to register for the upcoming OFC freeroll on Absolute as they have opened up registration already.I need help, do I have to pre-register for both events in order to play one of them?

If you want to play both, then you must register for each separately. But if you just want to play in one, then no, you shouldn't have to.

jQ is right. You should only need to register at OFC's site for the one you want to play.
But you are saying that you are trying to register into the tourney at Absolute and it won't let you in? If so, then it doesn't matter if Absolute registration is open or not. The ticket you get from Absolute won't come until the day before the event. You can only register on Absolute with 24 hours of the game.
