The more I learn the more I understand the game of course but how often does this information come in handy on these online sites. For example on full tilt in one of the $100 freeroll what are the chances of this information helping you. The donks are killing me with being rewarded for ignorant play. Don’t let my name fool you….I only donk out of frustration at times and I am working on that. lol

odds and Probabilities
- How often does each starting hand win against a specific hand or random hand?
- What are the odds of your opponent holding a pocket pair when he raises?
- What is the probability that an over-card will flop when you hold JJ?
- How do you determine if drawing is profitable or not?

Could you really use this information in that type of freeroll and if so please explain to me how to do so against the donks etc……

first question there is a poker odds calculator put in what ever you want to vs any random hand it will show you the odds.

2nd question no one will know this is he she lag or tag player plus every hand is random

3rd is 57%

-When you are deciding whether or not to go all in when the blinds are high, you have to evaluate the strength of your hand against your opponent's hands to decide whether or not to push all in or call an all in.

??? (I don't really know what this is for)
-I guess if you have AK and you're wondering how often you're against a pocket pair or something like that... This fundamentally goes against the "what is my opponent's range?" thinking so I don't know how useful this is.

Playing the flop and how likely we are to see a flop we like.
-Lets say at least one over card flops 25% of the time. Do you want to see a flop? Lets say at least one over card flops 65% of the time. Do you want to see a flop? Certain hands hit the flop a larger percentage of the time and knowing how often we get a flop we like and how hard we hit it when we do changes the way we play preflop.

pot odds.
-You are drawing to the nut flush draw with one card to come. You are getting 4:1 to call (call 200 in a 800 chip pot). You have odds to draw because your call is immediately profitable.

Everything you learn will eventually help you. freerolls can sometimes be a bit frustrating but as long as you stick to good poker, you will win. The answers that were giving above are great. It seems to me like you need to do a bit more studying and start playing more. After you put in a few thousand hands you start to realize that all the stuff that you have learned (whether you think it was good at the time, or not) has made you a better player. You start to see more and more examples were you can apply what you have learned and you will come out ahead. A small sample size where you are in a downswing can be extremely annoying and can sometimes (if you let it) hurt your game. I wish you the best of luck

Realize that those $100 freerolls have huge fields...and even a Pros Pro would have long no cashing streaks. Your expected return per hour played in these has got to be just horrible...even if you are really successful in them.

I know that doesn't answer your questions, but I feel like your questions are stemming out of frustrations experienced in these freerolls, right?

I think in these freerolls you might want to try throwing conventional playing out the window, and just shove with QQ+, AK, and fold everything else until you get into the <10 BB stage and shove accordingly.

Then once you make it deep, more players will "care" because they can actually make some money and you can do more conventional stealing, raising in position a little wider etc.
