I'm playing in a 1.75 18 player SNG on PS and in the past 10 hands I have folded both 88 that would have gone on to become quad 8s and 67 of spades that would have made a straight flush. Crazy stuff..anyone else have runs like that?

UPDATE- After folding what would have flopped a straight (910) I ended up hitting quad 6's to double up.

Grats on doubling up. It's interesting to see that you would have hit your straight flush but in the end it doesn't matter. You probably have heard this before, so I'll just put it out there that variance happens. Clumping happens more often than most people expect it to, so it's really not all that crazy to hit quads twice in a sit n go. And if you actually look at all your hands you'll make a straight a ton of the time.

I pay no attention to what I would have had if I had not folded. Other people drive themselves crazy with doing so. Fold 'em and forget 'em.

you dont worry about what u would of had or eventually you are going to think you well hit cards like that all the time and u well be calling to see a flop with 84, 65, 96 or anything else like that and that my friend would make you a donk lol :p so just forget about past hands , its better left unsaid

you generally accept your folds, most of the time, are the right thing to do. i guess we all like to play "if i donked it" and pay attention but its never really that big a deal

I hate when you make the smart play on an all-in and then see you would have won if you gambled. :p Like when 2 A-K's push all-in and you fold your A-J and a jack shows up on the river.

Well, folding when you should is a good player, regardless of what you might have catched. Calling when you shouldn't and catching something ridiculously good is a donk. Who makes more money in the long run generally, good players or donks? What would you rather? ;)

getting hands like quads not just once might be telling you that today is your lucky day!

You really shouldn't worry about what could have been when folding, this only becomes a distraction. Most often you will end up making some bad calls or pushes out of frustration. It was good you ended up doubling up though and to julie's point which i agree..." fold em and forget em"
