I would tell them to play for the win. Most of the guys who made the final table this year are much better players than in years past. I don't think we have a Darvin Moon or Jamie Gold at this year's final table. There may be one or two players who aren't as strong as the rest, but even they are decent.
In years past, we have seen even the best player in the world fold to the pressure in a really tight spot. (I'm talking about Ivey laying down JJ at his final table, when it was the best hand and may have catapulted him to a win). Too many players fold to the pressure at the final table while a few others seize the moment. One player who I thought played super well at the final table was the kid who finished second the year Peter Eastgate won it. I forget his name now, he was def Russian, but he played super well.
Bottom line I would say go for the win, hold nothing back, you are here once. Play smart, but don't play too timid.
