My question is how do you spot a rigged site?

Now, I disagree that any of the major sites are rigged. I just have this site Pokerihuone in mind. Its not so much that it is rigged, but more that it is spiked. Obviously, I don't play much on the site since I find that the action is just crazy.

Well, today I went to the site since two finns finished in the top 3 of the malaysian F1 grandprix and they had a 1k freeroll. First hand I quadrupled with jacks beating ace rag and kings. Then I had queens against a flopped set.

A few minutes later I had three sets and two full houses and got to almost 6000 chips before the hand where I raised and pushed with kings and I get a call from AQ, 77 and some other hand. Well obviously the ace fell on the river so my stack is around 800. A few hands later I push with A 8 and get called with 77, well I flop a 8, but the villain gets the runner runner for straight.

All I could do after that was to laugh my ass off. And this isn't the first time that this has happened to me.

Now before you say that I am just saying online poker is rigged, listen to me. This has happened to me constantly on this site playing freerolls, cash game or tournies. Once I switched away from this site the amount of bad beats have decreased a lot.

I don't know but the amounts just seem crazy for having played 30 mins:
KK 2x
QQ 1x
JJ 1x
Sets 4x
Full house, 1x from set 1x from all-in
Rivered 1x
Runner runner straight 1x

I had that happen to me too. So I started taking notes on the players. And come to find out, most of the time it is the player playing loose and bit donkish. Greedy and careless. I guess it can also depend on your stack too. Sometimes I get tired of playing Ill just call for the heck of it. And crack AA or KK to medium pocket pair or suited connectors.

1. get a much bigger sample size, combine HHs with other people who play on the site if possible

2. Check expected values vs. what actually happens in areas that you think make it rigged. You can't use opponents' hands mostly because you don't know what they fold, but it should be easy to know how many sets you all should have, how many full boats, how many AAs, etc. you get the idea. But first get a sample of at least a million hands. Half an hour of playing is nothing.

I decided that looking at the RNG certificates would help, but there was no poker listed on there (it was tested for black jack, craps,etc.).

I also read some other threads where there was discussion especially about the high amount of three flush flops and some users drawing out in the big cash games (playing A9 all-in pre flop against aces and 75os against kings) It is funny that most of these suckouts happen on the turn or the river such as hitting runner runner, but I guess those get posted out of the thousands of hands played every day.

Is it possible that even though their "pseudo random generator" has been certified by two places could still have some sort of bias in terms of card dealing?
