I don't think that poker sites cheat, but I feel that the cards are "boosted".

Poker sites make money from raked games, if the RNG's are tweaked to deal a few better hole cards then more action will be generated (more money bet) and they get bigger rakes. As I type this I just got AA for the 2nd time in 4 hands. I lost on the river with 3 A's to a straight. Lots of action, lots of rake. hmmmmmm....

paranoia.
do you think these sites would jeopardise their easy money doing shady stuff like this? pwc audits some poker sites.. perhaps if you are so paranoid you should stick with certified sites..

i play on boss a lot, and sometimes there is a big pause (as if the network is deciding what card to deal to suck you out.. ) and presto the one card comes after the pause and sucks you out. I still play there though (for now), however I just reckon that the software is shite sometimes.. i am not just as paranoid as you I guess heh

if they were making more rake then maybe they would, but the contributed rake on these tables is capped at 3$ max (at least where I play)

Any time you lose you think you have been cheated, you are after all a good player and should win this pot it must be the dealer or they are playing as a team or the site is riged it just to be something.I have been playing for more then 50 years and in that time I have had a ton of bad beats. rember chit happens.

It has nothing to do with bad beats, I have had plenty of them. We all have. My only point is that the cards seem better than normal/average/usual (pick your own word). AA vs KK gets more action than 95 vs J3, thus larger rakes.

Are the auditors testing the random number generators? Didn't realize that Price Waterhouse had a computer science division.

Also, I am not saying it is against me, they are not trying to go against me or for me. They are just spreading slightly above average cards around the table to boost betting.

I do believe that they cheat, why not??

They will make more money with small cheats than with rakes.
Simply as that.

And anyway, where are the servers and those sites located????

A bunch of them are in Malta, Gibraltar, etc... and they are regulated by their commisions (who you can buy for a handfull of dollars), so, think about that.

Do I play online at those rigged sites???
Of course I do.
Why not???
I do like to play, win or lose, I will always win someday to recoup my loses.
Even from freeroll, which I use to get some money when I lose on other tables.
lol
Gota love those freerolls.

Sincerely,

Dino

I got dealt pocket As twice in five hands in a live game just the other week.

My mechanics must be improving. ;)

You know something, there are countless posts on this site (and I assume all other poker forums) about how this poker site is juiced, this poker site cheats blah blah blah blah.....

Yet to this day no one has provided a single shred of real evidence, nothing, zero, zip, zilch. Yet many people are convinced that it is true....
Well if you are so sure (and this goes for everyone who makes these posts) then prove it. If you have no proof then stop posting this nonsense

Maybe it is time for some people to start facing the facts that the reason they are losing money, is because they are not good poker players. This falls under Occam's Razor which is normally paraphrased as "All things being equal, the simplest solution tends to be the best one."

lets see your personal research (need more than 4 hands to be convinced, sorry) and ill show you a CCer who did several 10s of thousands of hands research that showed online cardrooms are not rigged.

Well of course they do. I had a computer control environment audit a couple of weeks back. Not PWC but one the other biggies. They'll audit anything you ask them to or the law requires.

(and I've had AA on consecutive hands twice, which is about right for the amount of hands I've played :) )

I've seen flopped quads beaten by runner runner royal flush twice in the last year. Rigged? You tell me.

Its that same old story. On line u r delt more hands per hour, therefore you seem to get more bad beats/ AAvKK/ runner runner beating u/ etc .

I don`t play live very often, in fact I have only played a live tourny once a few weeks back, and guess what, I was short stacked, got delt KK. I pushed all in. A guy with about twice my chips deliberated and then called. He turned 1010. He caught a 10 on the river  So 100% of the time I have played live my `better` preflop hand was beaten. RIGGED !!! :D
