Just joined Noble. Is it just me or are the players there as stupid and as lucky as the ones at pacific poker? I made about $35 at one N/L ring game and about $15 at another one . But the tourney play SUCKS . The dumb agressive players are abundent some get busted out soon enough but for the most part they run all the real hands out of the pot or luck up on the turn or river with ther :4c4::7d4: any coments?:withstupi :banghead: :vroam:

You'll have that at any site. I agree you do get idiots, but you get those at any site. This is the age of computer poker or better known as lucky poker. Try to play your game and think that the other guy is playing a freeroll. Some times you will run across someone that is playing concervitave, that is the guy that will prevale in my opinion.

I've been playing at Noble for a few months now, and I agree that there are some real idiots out there. They lose out in tournament play quickly (except in re-buy where they can re-buy up to 99 times which really bothers me--i guess they are building the pot though.) I've seen them in cash games build $10 to $100 and then to nothing. But for the most part the good, conservative players are the ones who come out ahead.

99 times?! that is madness! you have to be some kind of super crazy sucker to rebuy that many times.
It's pretty comical, actually. I play the Noble $2 and $3 rebuy tournaments quite a bit because I can generally survive the first hour with tight play while all the maniacs are busting out and rebuying every ten minutes. Then I'll add-on at the end of the first hour and start playing poker when it becomes a freezeout. I'll usually have $4 to $6 invested. But these guys will routinely go to the well five or six times in their quest for a first place prize that's generally in the $80 to $100 range. I just don't get the thought process in risking $20 to win $100. At best, without handicapping for skill level, their chances in a 60-player field are 59-to-1, but they're only looking at a 4-to-1 return on their money. Not very good "pot odds".
