Hiya everyone,
I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this but CD poker and Noble Poker not only look the same, they are the same.
I narrowly missed loggin into the freeroll on CD poker so i thought that i may aswell try out this new software that i just downloaded. "Noble Poker"
When i went to register for the freeroll tourny there, i noticed that the same players were registered for that tournament aswell. so i tried a few other rooms and excactly the same.
Why would Noble or CD or whatever they prefer to be called have two sites running simulataniously under one server?

If there is a limit of one acct per household in CD poker, then why is it possible to register myself a new acct in Noble Poker?
Its the same thing... the same rooms, same people, and same tournies?

This might be a common thing, i dont really know but it sure shocked the hell out of me...
how many other sites are doing the same thing... do i have to delete more of my Pokerr software from my system because it is the same peope?

tell me this isn't strange!

It seems to me that they might allow multiple accounts simultaneously because in the games I play I regularly see the same people playing together all the time. I am new at this too and am keeping my eyes open for any collusion that I see.

I too would like to know if anyone has had experience playing on both sites.

Hi,
Although there are literally hundreds of poker websites out there, there are only around 12 gaming softwares that run these accounts. For example as you have found out, noble and Cd poker run the same software called i poker network, they also share with USA poker,BET fred, Diamond club poker, Poker 770 and a couple of others i think. royal vegas and Crazy Vegas and all other prima sites are run by microgaming software.

They do this to maximise the number of people playing on the software, although each poker site is competing against the next to get the customers. party poker shares the biggest network but off the top of my head i can't name it although i know empire use it aswell and they continually have in excess of 25,000 players on.

You can register at each site if they use the same software but make sure you use the same details otherwise they will shut you down to prevent collusion. like i said, each site wants its own customers to deposit on their site even though they share the same rooms etc. You cannot log into two sites at once that run the same software if your at one computer.

Hope this clears things up for you.

Thank you for that StackThemUp. That seems like a good marketing strategy.

Noble and CD Poker use the same client and network.

Like the prima network for bet365, expekt, royal vegas etc.. cd poker and noble poker are the same in the sense both clients run the same sort of layout/program and tables inside.

Hope this helps.

not only the same layout, but the same players!
i went to the Belfry room and looked at the players in CD poker.
i then closed that software and opened Noble and viola! exactly the same players with the same chip balances.

The Poker Network you are talking about is called ipoker. The poker rooms share the same players and most of the games but they are actually separate companies.
