Last week I was playing 4/8 Omaha 8 at a local b&m. A lot of dealers had come in from out of town due to the MSPT being there. One dealer from I believe Mississippi was speaking about the live card rooms were closing. He attributed this to No Limit hold'em, saying the game brakes all the casual players and the card rooms were empty. Then multiple players (age 40 and older) began talking how poker rooms used to be full of people playing limit games, big and small. Does anyone have a similar opinion or experienced a decrease in traffic in their local b&m since the no limit boom?
