Playing with a cap in big stakes games may be an interesting concept. But, playing with a cap in the micros, meaningless. Even at the 1/2 level when opponents didn't hit the flop but have allot of outs or are 4 to the flush etc., and are already half way invested to the cap, will probably stick around eliminating the chase, and
bluff, bet. Hence, leading to more suck outs.
Yes, I know capping may be beneficial in some cases, giving medium
hands the chance to turn into monsters. But at lower limit games, especially online where most people are already playing against opponents most of the time with deeper pockets, capping could just turn the game into a fish fest.
I'll wait for more posts on outcomes before I even try it at the lower levels.
