WSOP 2012 FINAL TABLE

As some of you may be aware the conclusion to the 2012 main event is taking place over the next few days, this thread is purely to discuss it, IE hands, players, plays and just general talk about it. Coverage starts in about 15 minutes time. Exciting times, who do we reckon will TID?

Going with Greg Merson personally :)

high stakes pro's have started limping to change BVB dynamics etc, and have been limping to induce shorty shoves etc, the 88 shove was plain horrible tho

It's going pretty slow, getting down to three players is going to take awhile. It's nice to be watching live tho. Trying to figure what hands are playing shows me why I play Micro stakes.

Didn't Antonio defend that move? Ha

-
No I dont think so at least? I thought he said he was only ever getting called by better like Ax and PPs and that a raise and fold to 3-bet was better. A tourny player could advise maybe why Sylvia shoved though..

Repost from PokerNews:

If Greg Merson wins the 2012 world series of poker Main Event, then he will also win the 2012 Player of the Year race. Phil Hellmuth, who currently sits in first place in the points standings, finished runner-up last year to Ben Lamb and in 2006 to Jeff Madsen, and is fervently anti-sweating Merson:

Daniel Negreanu
@RealKidPoker

Merson wins that pot and my phone rings. It's @phil_hellmuth "They are just giving him chips man! I'm going to finish 2nd again" HAHA!

ah man that sucks, i know the feeling....just when you think you are beating it, variance screws you over and before you know it the BR is dented and you feel like s**t.....i try to start each day with a positive attitude, and pray ive still got enough credit to play 2nl the next day lol....what do you think of blackrains book?...im deffo going to get it when i can get some money together...thats the book i really need tbh, all the other books seem to be abit outdated or irrelevant to the stakes/game we play....yeah im playing a couple of freerolls everyday....the 1k bronzestar...its a big field...usually around 5000 and it costs 20fpp's.....1st prize is like $200....deffo worth it if you finish deep....you should try it, you will have lots of fpp's like me....hope you rungood soon man gl
