'Typically' his playing style is pretty tight in MTT play. I've watched many of his training vids. on PokerSavvy+ which I'd say are EXCELLENT (the guy's a great teacher, very thorough, well-spoken, etc.). I've also watched a TON of his play (Bond18 on Fulltilt) and have read every strategy post I've found that he's written (and they are EXCELLENT!).
Basing 'his playing style' from a small # of hands in later levels of the ME I don't think is a good enough picture of his game (we don't know the 'metagame' stuff that brings about the plays, etc.).
Weirdly/oddly enough, when I read about that WPT job that was posted on a bunch of poker forums
, his name came to mind for me as someone who'd be great for the job. Then a short while later I find out he applied for it & actually got it (over many well-known poker personalities.. ie. Joe Sebok, David Williams & many others). Good on him!!
Alot of hard work paying off imo. WTG TONY!!!
