Hi,

I'm trying to play online poker and I'm from the US. Can people tell me what the best site is for this? I've tried many of them, and it seems like every way I've tried to fund my account (Ive tried to use my Checking account with Bank of America, and paypal.) has been blocked by some law that was passed.

Thanks
Ben

These transactions are not allowed on the forum.
Sorry. Search the site for various deposit methods. It's not too difficult. visa All Access gift cards work.

I haven't been able to find these gift cards anywhere, at any of the places listed on their website.

SP is right, we do not allow funds transfer requests here. Where do you live in the US? I can find All Access Visas at Walgreens or any Safeway store.

There are a few sites that will take credit cards (Sportsbook, PlayersOnly, bodog). I play mostly at poker stars though and use their eCheck option.

I'm in WA state.

If I were to get checks, would it show up as a payment to a poker site on my statement, or is it more discrete?

No players from Washington state can play online, as Washington made it a felony to play online. So even US accepting sites such as pokerstars or Full Tilt would still not accept you.

You can also use the pre-paid Green Dot Visa. Works fine and you can get it in any Walgreens or even Staples.

This is an interesting comment. I am assuming that if you are visiting Washington state, and you log into Full tilt from your hotel room (or anywhere within Washington state), that you would then be committing a felony. Is that the case? Would ignorance to that law protect you from being prosecuted (assuming you are from another country where it is legal - or another state where it is legal).

Do these sites block any connections from an IP address that is known to be within that state? Is it possible to get a list of other states where online poker is illegal?
