Never heard of it... so I'd steer well clear of it until such time as it makes a name for itself... after all why put money in a no-name site with unknown levels of funding and no players, rather than a well-established site that's known for soft competition and which has the money to offer some nice 1st deposit bonuses and the like?

Atlantic Lounge is a casino site - where do you see poker listed here.

Anyways, listen to starfall - there's no need to be one of 10 players playing real money games at a startup right now.

Is it a poker link, or a casino link? Most of the online casinos will give free chips out to players, but require to play a ridiculous amount of action to cash out (and only then, must be amounts over the free chips up to a limited amount), or a deposit - followed by ridiculous amounts of action required to cash out their bonuses.

A lot of new site are BS. Some people on titan talk about new sites all the time and how they never receive their paydays. Scam, I think so

Safer just to stick to the biggies.
I would consider a deposit, though if they had largely overlayed tournies.

If you can find a telephone number on the site call it and when someone answers ask them for a postal address if they are hesitant to give it or dont they are bogus.

sign up for a new site but dont deposit if the site calls you in say a week and tries to get you deposit over the phone ther are very desparate for depositors and are probably ready to shutdown. Telemarketing is a BIG sign of scamming poker sites!!!

With the casinos, you can get free amounts from better-known casino sites... although so far the best option for playing on the casino sites seems to be playing on ones like InterCasino, playing perfect strategy for something like Deuces Wild video poker, and only playing to clear the bonuses... I haven't really investigated that, though, I've just heard it's a potential way to on average make money from casino play (getting sufficiently high payouts that the bonus makes the average return above 1.0).

As more and more new sites jump on the bandwagon that is the online poker boom - i find myself playing more at fewer sites and the more older, reliable ones.

Sure they may offer a few free dollars but then there is always the small print - play x amount of hands, first deposit x amount before withdrawing etc.

Id rather just play, if they offer something different/new fair enough but otherwise no thanks.

:)
