Do you think any new poker variants will be invented and become popular in the future?
I think there will be new ones.
A couple I would like to see tried out is Hold Em with jokers which I think would be fun, and I'm surprised doesn't seem to be anywhere online.
Also Hold Em with infinite decks could be interesting so that any number of the same card could come out at once like on blackjack.
Do you think these 2 variants would be successful?

With 'poker' players ... not a chance in h***.

With lukbox maniacs ... sure. Anything that requires pure luck to win is fine with them.

I'm thinking I'll put a joker in the deck the next time we get together to play with friends or family to just see what kind of game it would be. Of course, it would only be good with Aces, Straights and Flushes but it might be fun for a change.

Hehehe, not at all. Was just wondering though if anyone remembers a game we played as kids called 'Baseball' ?? Jokers, 3's and 9's were wild and 4's gave you a free card.

Don't recall why they called it 'Baseball', but sounds like something a lot of online players would join.

This would throw counting 'outs' into a tailspin ... :D
