Refer to the turn/river together as "the Forrest".

Example:

Pocket
:9h4: :10d4:

Flop
:7s4: :6d4: :8c4:

You push, Villain calls. You now have the nuts, but you still have to make it "through the Forrest"

Villain Turns Over
:as4: :ks4:

You think to yourself... "SWEET! I got this one..."

Turn
:2s4:

River
:js4:

And kills you in/with the Forrest.

Why call it the Forrest? Because he had to catch runner runner (or "Run Forrest run") to beat you. This would be VERY easy to explain if someone asks why you said you were beat in (or by... I like in) the Forrest, all you have to say is "Run Forrest run" and most of the world will probably recognize that from Forrest Gump. Plus, "The Forrest" can give a vision of a squirrel in a wide open field holding his nuts (acorns that is)... but he still has to get through the Forrest :D

Plus, easy to explain in a bad beat story, "There I was with a nut flop but I didn't make it through the Forrest"... "I keep getting killed in the Forrest".. "HaHa, I took this guy out in the Forrest".... you get the point.

Str8 was an example. You had them beat on the flop and they needed runner runner (run Forrest run) to beat you ;)

I think I'll trade Photoshop and Final Cut Pro lessons with ChuckTs for poker lessons ;)

Try reading through this:

I started a new expletive a week or so ago, one to replace a foul language responce that breaks furom rules. You'll know who it was modeled after and she thought it was pretty cute, happy to have her name made famous. here's an example..

Mother of Ziggy! Did you seee that ace hit the river to save me from that idiot's 8 4 os both pairing the board against my big preflop raise with pocket aces?
