Hey guys im a new player on full tilt, im doing pretty good only deposited 50 and im hovering around even. So my question is how long does it take for most people to become winning players. Also do you guys recomend doing sit n gos more than cash games, because i have about gone exclusivly sit n gos.

hi hiro, welcome to the site.
take your time to read some posts/articles etc here, they will help your game hugely.
Are you practising Bank roll management? What buy-in sng's are your currently playing there?

Well the fact of the matter is that 2/3 of online players never become "winning" players so there is no real timeline u can put one it.
All u can do is play and study the game and hope to become sucesfull.
Sng/ring is just a matter of taste and strengths imo and only u can figure out witch one is better for your style.

Good luck at the tables and welcome to CardsChat a endless source of poker knowledge

Hey Hiro, welcome to the site. Check out my blog for a GREAT example of what you shouldn't do! I was in the same boat as you, trying to build something off of only 50$. Yesterday I hit my high of 99.75$. I screwed up and accidentally bought into a 33$ + 1.50 heads up match and got so pissed about the game that I joined that I lost in in a flush, I had king high flush, he had ace high flush. I was the ace shy of a royal flush too. Oh well. So it dropped me down to about 57$, and now I'm back up to $66.50.

Stick with the small games for now. if you take a look at my blog you'll see what can happen if you don't.
