This is for those who play poker over somebody's house. Let's say you hold a poker game over your house and one of your friends who plays regularly brings a friend who has just started playing poker(but knows how to play so he won't ask questions every three minutes). Do you hate new players or welcome them because it is a new challenge because it's another player to figure out (i.e. loose or tight)?

Lately, during my home games, it's hard to find friends/players due to jobs, time shedule, girlfriends, money situation, etc....I always welcome new players because of the possiblity of this player becoming a regular....Also, like what you said, having the challenge to figure the person out. Sitting at the casino, you might only recognize ther regulars there, which could be 2 to 3 players on your table. You should try to get used to recognizing the style of play of each player. A good practice is home games which usually the stakes aren't really high compared to the casino...
Good luck!!!

I think that you should accept new players in order to practice trying to adapt to the play of others and also to try picking up tells

Playing with different people will and can only improve your game in the long run.

New players are OK. In real life you never know what you will get.

its obvious new players should be a good thing,
1}more people at the table
2}gives you experiance on playing players who you dont know
3}gives you the chance to be able to read someone new, nulike the usuall guys who you probably know how to read.
4} if your playing for money and not just for fun then its extra $$$$$$$ or in my case £££££££ lol
