Hi guys,

A quick query, have any of you ever used neteller?

It is one of few withdrawal methods available on royal vegas and i'm considering signing up for an account.

Reliable?

Should I be worried about using their service?

The reason I ask is that the alternative is checque and that takes up to a month!

thanks in advance

Simon

I use Neteller regularly and have never had any issues at all. I usually use the instacash method for putting money in - it shows up instantly and there are no fees as long as you accessed Netellet through the poker site. I cashed out at Paradise when they banned US players and again had no problems with Neteller. Their customer service is very good as well.

Nice one, cheers guys.

So just to quickly clarify things in my head, I register an acconut with htem, also registering the bank account I want funds to go in to? Then I make my withdrawl from RV and it goes into my NETeller account, and then I simply withdraw the funds from the NETeller account straight to the bank account?

Yep, that's how it works.

Neteller is fine, used it for over a year and no complaints here.

That's how it's supposed to work. But you will find that once you start playing, it's more of a one way street. From your bank account to NETeller, to the poker site, not the other way around!:D :D

It looks as though most of the poker sites absorb any charges incurred from using NETeller. I couldn't be sure though, given that I haven't even validated my bank account yet. .

No fees for EFTs but if you use the Instacash option or any of their other options there is a charge. An EFT can take several days so I always try to keep some funds in Neteller so I don't have to pay any fees.

Can anyone tell me what this means:

HERE'S THE IMPORTANT PART:

Your original deposit amounts will determine the portion of your cash-in that will be refunded to your NETELLER or Click2Pay accounts. The remaining portion will be paid to you in the form of your preferred method of payment.

Please note if you use Citadel, instadebit or Electronic Check as a deposit option, your withdrawals will be subject to an eight-day waiting period. As a result we are only able to process your withdrawals eight days after your last Citadel, InstaDebit or Electronic Check deposit.

Please note that any new deposit options that give instant gratification for your deposits might have to go through the standard eight-day waiting period.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE POKER ROOM RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PAY WINNINGS WITH A CHECK, AND IN CASES WHERE YOU HAVE BEEN WITH THE POKER ROOM FOR LESS THAN THREE MONTHS, THIS MAY BE THE PAYMENT METHOD USED.

First part says they will pay back the original deposit amount to the same place they got it from. Any after that is your choice. Example is, If you deposited $100 using Neteller and later won $500 that you wanted to withdraw. The 1st $100 would be sent to you through Neteller. the remaining $400 would be your choice.

2nd part says it probably going to take 8 days using anything that gives you your winnings instantly.

Right, cool, gotcha. The only thing is I deposited straight from my debit card, will it go straight into my bank account?

That would be handy.

I don't know on that one. Email their Customer Service and ask them. They would be the best to ask.

Ok, I think I'm going to give Neteller a try in a couple of days. So, if I were to withdraw funds from like bodog, or Full Tilt does the amount I withdraw from those sites immediately go into Neteller or does it take time to go into Neteller? I was doing an echeck withdrawl at Bodog the other day (or should I say a request for a withdraw) and it said my deposit I had put in a few days before had not completed and I needed for it to be completed before the withdraw would go through. The funds still showed in my bodog acct as playable so like an idiot I said "hey, I just go ahead and try to increase the money a little more and put in another withdraw request after adding to the amount. So what happened? I donkeyed off the money of course and therefore not enough funds to withdraw? So if I use Neteller will the money leave the sites immediately?

I dont know if this will help but, I had won at POKER770 and went to cash it out.( I turned $40 promo money into $300).So since I had not made a deposit thru anyone, I went to withdrawal thru neteller and put some of that money at other sites. I was told that in order to withdrawal thru neteller I would have to make a deposit at the site thru neteller. I ended up doing a wire tranfer which cost me $30.

I think that's standard at a lot of sites. Why not just make the minimum deposit using Neteller, then draw it back out?

Got to agree with JQ on this. I don't know why anyone that is going to play online wouldn't have Neteller. It's simply the standard, accepted by all sites that I know of. To take this a step further for players starting to set up, this is what I did:

I opened up a new free checking account which came with free savings. The money I used to open it was withdrawn after I made my first deposit back from Neteller.

Then I opened my Neteller account. Because I was in the same situation as xSTUZIEx, I deposited, to activate my account then immediately withdrew.

So what I end up with is a system that I can deposit and withdraw at any site at NO COST because I use EFTs. My gaming money is kept separate from my other money, which has advantages of easily and truthfully keeping track of winnings and losses and also the peace of mind that my other accounts won't get hacked.
