I need to play a lot more play money hold'em on poker stars to get better at winning.
Playing in the play money area is not going to improve your game anywhere close to where you will need it to be once you jump to actual REAL currency poker.I need to play a lot more play money hold'em on poker stars to get better at winning.

Extremely poor advice telling someone who understands that they are not very goodat poker …………to make a depositand play for real money.A waste of your time. Start playing in freerolls. This way you will get more development. Make a Deposit and play for real money.
I think a player entering any poker game already knows the basics. In the game of "playing chips" you will not learn how to build your strategy game. And when you switch to games for real money you will make a lot of mistakes and lose your stack and bankroll. These games are very different from each other. The player must initially prepare himself for poker games (reading, watching videos, training with friends, etc.) and then join the fight. Personally, I did so. And I'm not going to waste my time "playing chips". I play one and a half month at poker and significantly raised my bankroll with a Deposit of $20. A lot of experience comes in games the bounty, the bigger and other. Long tournaments teach smart action in poker. In cash games you generally get a lot of experience. In them you fight for real money and estimate the chances. Games "playing chips" and freerolls you risk nothing. Lost chips you can return in 4 hours. Freeroll tournaments is required for learning. I not against them and I play in them itself. And I don't see anything shameful about what I suggested. I wish you good luck.Extremely poor advice telling someone who understands that they are not very goodat poker …………to make a depositand play for real money.
The only sensible advice is to direct them into learning the basics by studying the game and second to play in a bunch of freerolls where they are not risking losing their monies.
Shame on you!
