Selling A Million Play Chips

I am trying to sell one million (1,000,000) Play Money Chips on PokerStars.
I logged on the site PokerStars Money Maker, and they are offering only $6.00 per Million chips.
I was under the understanding that one could sell a million chips for $10.00.
Will some one steer me in the right direction to get maximum money for my chips.
I would appreciate it very much.
Thanks,
mange

You can't get 10$ anymore, there's not enough demand. Price may go up eventually, but probably not by much.

Wow, I heard people bought play money chips but I thought it was bogus.

I guess not.

If one had $6-$10 per million to buy it, why not just deposit?

Oh well, good luck to you.

Beware this site.

I can't confirm this site is a scam, but there are lots of articles out about people being scammed.

So, thought I would pass it on to the Chatters:

Hey Jayrod,

First, thank you very much for taking your time to help me. As you know, once I tansfer my million chips, there is no guarantee that the money will be forthcoming.
so, I am trying to investigate this to prevent getting scammed.

I spent a lots of time at the 5/10 Omaha hi lo tables to get to the million, and sure dont want to click it away. Not so much for losing them money, but to protect the time I put into it. And, to keep from getting stressed out over being scammed.

But, anyway, FYI, I logged on to the site you suggested, Bigbadbullets. And, got a notice, that they no longer buy pokerstars Play chips. They gave no reason.

However, they do buy chips from other sites.

So, thanks again, and I will keep up my seach.

I dont know how well it works for pokerstars, but what I did on full tilt is go on the highest play money tables and just say in observers "selling full tilt chips". A buyer contacted me within minutes. You get lots of high stakes play chips wanna be's checking out the highest limits, and they sometimes fork out the cash to buy it.

Very dangerous. It is illegal to sell chips and you could get your account banned. That's why you never talk about it on the sites when you are selling through a site.

OK I better chill

This is my first time, and I guess I better chill.

I got a warning from PS about selling chips. And, I now understand that FT will freeze your account for selling play chips.

Live and learn.

I need to get away from the Play chip and freerolls.

lesson learnt. thanks

You are allowed to sell them, just not to discuss it in chat at the tables. That must be why you got a warning. Use the search feature at the top right of the page. There are threads mentioning sites that people here have used without incident [don't need to bump them tho]
