So last night I played in the 250K at stars and I noticed my full ring game play still has a lot of defects, actually I think it's the worst part of my game.

I mostly play HU sng's and have been doing pretty good at them, but want to broaden my horizons. And since most MTT's are full ring, I'll need to master that part of the game sometime.

So anyone knows any good books about full ring theory? Something that really teaches you the fundamentals?

Thanks

you can't go wrong with the HOH books. Harrington on Hold'em by Dan Harrington vol 1, 2 and the work book which is 3.

Harrington on Hold 'em is kinda the bible for that stuff.

Nice, thanks. I'll check it out.

EDIT: does anyone have negative comments about HOH?

I wouldn't say this is a negative comment about HoH, but it may be helpful to remember while reading that he's relatively tight compared to other well known live tournament players. This is reflected in how he plays as well as how he weights various factors in his decisions. These things are useful to know, but how directly they can be applied to a given person's game can vary.
