I won a buck from a fun step. Should I enter the fast fifty or go to a cash table? What would be the better play?

$1.00 isn't nearly enough. Keep playing the fun steps and freerolls until you hit like $20. I'm not sure if Carbon has them but once you have $20 you can play the 0.25c sng's. If there aren't 25c sng's you can try and grind up to $40, then you'll have 20BI for cash and you can play 2nl.
My actual sequence at Carbon. Eventually won a dollar at funsteps - took forever ( in retrospect not worth it). Took that dollar to the .11 pocket cubed NL Holdem tournaments - figured I could enter 9 of these before broke. Eventually cashed in these up to $3. Took that to the $1.10 PLO DON STT. Have money at other sites and have done well with these. Had two chances before going broke. Cashed in the first one and eventually worked my way to $7. After that got tired of playing with scared money and deposited .
Double your money - fold it in half and put it in your pocket.
You've only got one shot with that coupon before back to the minor leagues.
Pick a tournament with the smallest # of starting entrants you can find,
preferably a freezout, to give you the smallest variance to cash. Good luck.
I assume that was a $2.20 coupon?
11c bumblebee room tourneys will give you the most shots per dollar. All in festivals more or less from the start, they dont run for long but if you get a little luck you can win 42cents I think and 18 for 2nd. I'd recommend playing with what you win from the funsteps straight away, Im not sure its worth building it up to more than a few $ before taking on tournaments (fast fifty or bumblebee) perhaps just get $2, then at least you could have a bit of a session. I wouldnt play the funsteps and real money at the same time. If want to play cash then grind a whole buyin first then run like god, you'll need to.
I would go for the SNG. Lower variance than MTT. If you win the $11 coupon then you will have a lot more choices to use the coupon(and tougher opponents)
If you won the $1, take it the the .11 bumblebee tournaments.
This reply may be too late, but odds are there will be 150+ people in that MTT by the time it starts. Also, going back to the original SNG - I would rather have the $1 2nd place (bird in the hand) than the $11 coupon 1st place (bird in the bush) when I was trying to build my bankroll. $11 coupon is theoretical money the $1 you can take straight to the .11 bumblebee SNG (lower variance) vs the .11 pocket cubed MTT I used.
ha ha... I've met someone ^ worse than myself!! Nice!this is a very complicated question that deserves a complex answer. i'll post my report here when im finished writing it.
