When your playing live music is your best friend, but online now its way too distracting plus if a song comes on and you don't like it you have to interrupt your session to change it and it can just cause nothing but problems

For me its a lot of melodic electronic music. nothing to heavy. I try to keep myself in a chill mood.

No music, I listen/watch youtube poker videos when I play (preferably with Mike Sexton commentating).

I play any type of music and drink while I play poker it is a great combination. Be relax and not so tense even when you lose a hand you feel you should have won.

I am a massive music fan and I regularly consume new music but I try to listen to music I am familiar with when playing.
I have been listening to a lot of electronic music lately while playing and I find it really helps. Ambient Techno music is my jam right now. Artists like Jon Hopkins I recommend!

i have music to suit my mood but that said, i am also looking at how i play with several different types of tunes from classical, rock, anthem, opera and ballads.
Its a question i have done some research into for myself as a player and so far..classical is winning..

I like to listen to music ... but not when I play poker .... Even though it relaxes me it also distracts me a lot .... I have been eliminated from tournaments because of bad decisions when I get distracted listening to music ...!
