I enjoy 4-6 tables pretty comfortably,
8+ gets to be a bit much;)

I find I play better when I just play position and my cards,
and not get bored and start playing mediocre hands just to play,

1-3 tables its much easier to take notes, learn styles of the players at your table... which is huge info and makes a difference in getting deeper runs,

I like 4-6 cuz of my ADD, I also watch a show and surf while playing:)

For me are 3 tables the best... You can observe players and you are often on the move, but not that often you hear everytime attention... I wonder how some players are able to play on 8 tables...
See... :D

I'm a tournament player so I never really played more than 3 MTT's at once maybe 4. However I would sometimes go off on a cash game fling and act like I was going to multi table 10+ tables and do well....it never worked out!

However I agree with micalupagoo. I also seemed to play better when I wasn't bored, played position, and good hands.

10 tables

Playing +10 tables is like people playing on automats.. Everything is automaticcaly without thinking(folds, raises and calls) and it's here only waiting to good hand...

I went through a phase where I 20-24 tabled 2 and 5 nl, crushing 2 nl and losing it all back at 5 nl.

It is, to quote PokerOrifice "pushing buttons" and not playing poker. I used HEM and HEM 2 and based all my decisions on any info I had time to look at - and some times that was enough and sometimes I just had to push a button cause time to consider factors was simply not there.

It was very easy to run over 2 nl players - then anyway - just playing ABC. But enjoying a game is non existent. It is solely trying to not fold a hand due to sit out and pushing buttons. For me it was anyway.

For me personally comfortable to play two or three tables. When play 3+ tables I did not get enough attention. I can not analyze the players at all tables. Who often raises, and who falls after my raises. And this is very valuable information.

I won some money last days, so I try to registered to 5 MTT's tournaments and it was only one disadvantage here: I couldn't read my opponents... But sometimes I haven't mood to reading and I just surfing on internet sites and just play my game... And then it is good to play this more table's MTT's poker.

4 tables without HUD, when I play SNG SH is pretty good. More tables - less quality of game

I can play four comfortably. Depending on what I'm playing I usually have more than one table up at all times. One table gets boring and slow and I can easily pay attention to patter s with multiple tables up

I'll multi no more than 4, unless there's a compelling reason to do so. I'm only using one monitor though, should really get another computer and run an extra screen. The guy in the picture looks like he's going for the world record in multi-tabling - I guess those are not turbo.

I play a maximum of two screens at the same time. Already open 6 screens and played poorly in all six , I can not concentrate . On two screens leave me better.

For me the maximum was 6 tables. Did this once and never before. I now stick to 2 tables, sometimes even one. Its much more relaxed for me and I can chill out a bit while listening to grind poker music on youtube :D

I think this is a fake, or just production spectacle. I really know, now one can't play profitable with similar game style (with beer bottle, Facebook open, and with lot of think distraction attention.
As for me, 5-6 tables is good and comfortable. My bankroll allows me feel enjoying during cash session.
Obviously, what about tournaments, if their important - 3 max table... better I open one more cash table

8-10 tables Multiple PCs at times too!
I would have about 8 tourneys going with a couple of cash games. I'm not sure I could handle all that now.
