Have no problem with players playing multitables, but when they hold up one game while trying to play two others, it is very irritable. I've been on several tables and some of the players would take all the time allowed before betting/folding/etc. So, I've taken down the name and searched to find they are playing other games. I admire them being able to do that, but to hold up other serious players is very unconsiderate. I know a few that play more than 3 and if they keep up, go with it. Just be considerate.

It's not that they're deliberately holding up play or being inconsiderate to you or others. They just mass multi table, so they have to make decisions at many other other tables before getting back to the one you're at.

So while I agree with you it is annoying for players who only play 1 or 2 tables, whilst poker rooms allow players to MMT then there's not a lot you can do other than find a new table without a MMT'er.

I play a lot of tables, anything upto 24 at a time, but I have Tableninja to help me speed up my actions so I don't think I hold up play too much.

And not everyone who delays is multi-tabling. Some have the idea that if if they take the max time every hand, they'll tilt their opponents. And it's true in many cases. As you said, it bothers you. :)

Playing 3-4 tables should not significantly affect their response time. If it does, it's probably intentional (or they're new to multi-tabling). As Jagsti points out, a lot of folks play a LOT more tables than that. When I was playing 9-12 tables, I rarely took very long on a hand, and usually only when I didn't hear the warning (I was tiling) or got involved in a large pot that required all of my attention to play out.

You just have to learn to be patient about it. Trust me, if you were playing live, it would often be 10x slower at just a single table. If every player took the max time in most online games, it would still be faster than a large percentage of live games.
