I don't like the idea of showing my cards for free , sometimes I show my cards for the below reason:

- I made a very nit and marginal fold
- I made a successful bluff against a bad player and I want him to tilt with me so the next time I could exploit him
- Lastly I show my cards in a blind vs blind all in , and if I am the defender I can easily show my folded trash cards!

I always muck. I guess if you want to put someone on tilt, you would show them a bluff

I agree with you it is a matter each person has his own opinion about that each makes an independent decision at least it should be

I act depending on the situation and mood, sometimes at the request I can show, and sometimes not

Sometimes it makes sense to show your cards to an opponent in order to evoke certain emotions from him, having a further game plan with him. But given that I play several tables at the same time, I just do not have enough time for this and so I turned on the automuck function.

I do not show a loosing hand if I don't have to. I muck and keep the info he would gain by seeing my hand to myself. On a rare occasion I will table a bluff to help push a certain player towards tilt if I think I can capitalize on it later with him calling down with thin value.

I show the players a map, but it's very rare when the players think for a long time and guess what card I have, then the players fold and I sometimes show that I did not bluff, but this happens very rarely, I think it's not necessary to do this is a game that does the risk

The only time I don't muck my cards is when I think I can tilt them by showing my cards. Or very rarely early on I will show to try and make them think I'm retarded or drunk if you get my drift...

First time I played a live game was in a pub tournament, a couple of the guys there would exclaim "he's mucked it!" whenever they folded to a bet, probably to throw others off their game
