Fear of foolishness: For many players, it seems that preserving self-esteem is more important than making money.
Fear of losing: When you are afraid of losing, you are afraid of taking risks and, as we all know, without risk there are no rewards.
Fear of being defeated: This is probably the most common fear that affects many players. After suffering numerous bad beats, players begin to fear every draw their opponents may have.
I particularly often suffer from this fear of being defeated, I get the feeling that no card is good enough to be played and this causes me to lose all the chips and sometimes frustrating myself.
Has anyone ever had any of these fears on the tables? How do you overcome?
