Hi, you guys think you will play more live poker in casinos/home games after the online poker site closures for US players?

Well yeah, what choice do we have? I've played about 9 times since BF. That's probably as much live poker as i've played in the last 6 years combined.

I personally prefer live play over internet. Its more exciting, you can feel the cards, I enjoy reaching for real chips and being able to get good reads on opponents, not to mention the good lookin drink servers ;). I believe that its easier to keep my head in the game and tilt less often while Im sitting at an actual table.

i completely agree. apart from online you dont need to leave the house, besides that live is far better

I wouldn't risk too much at any of the on-line sites. It may be just a matter of time before the other shoe falls and I doubt any of them will pay out the way poker stars did. From what I hear it's a nightmare trying to get paid at Cake right now. Something like a 12 week wait and a $500 minimum withdrawal.

i am not sure

i think some people will have to play more online to make up for having smaller rolls on "fringe" sites

I have under $100 on each site i play at just in case they get shut down , so i only play micro stakes or small buy-in tournaments. I actually have a card room about 10 miles from my house but it is sorta small and from what i have heard it is a sort of locals only thing, and i don't go play live often enough to be considered a local, lol
