How much have everybody won or lost from playing poker? I'm only 14 and don't really play online so much and when i play with my friends we play pretty low stakes, overall I'm up about $400 from poker.

hi,
As your 14 you shouldn't be playing online full stop young man! I've made over 120k since last september..largely due to my 1st place in the 100k on paradise and my two wins in the 50k...i play 20/40 limit on paradise too..you should read the thread 'just wondering' i explain in detail of how much i make per day/month etc.

You have to be 21 to play poker for money. I would watch my back if I were you. If you get caught, you could be in serious trouble.:egg:

a VERY long time. I've been playing for months now and I just wait until i win a few bucks at a freeroll, then I play at the site until I build up a decent amount at the ring games. I usually cash out when I get to $60 or $75 then start again with the freerolls. It takes a long time but there is very little risk involved and its usually pretty fun for me.

My online bankroll now stands at a healthy $400, from my $50 initital deposit at stars.

My live bankroll is a different story up about $1200 over the last 6 months or so

Actually, you only need to be 18 to play (except for a few states in the U.S.). I don't know about other countries though.

14 though, that's young. If you're making money now just keep playing home games til your of age and then start to play online and make the big bucks.

How are you managing that anyway? Have your parent sign up and then play on their account?

I am up about $700 but I only play small home games and an occasional tourney. I don't have a huge bankroll and life outside poker that just doesn't give me the time to spend 2-4 hrs online to play. I am just happy that there are few days when I leave with less than I came with. I live in a place where it is hard to find a game except for friends and a casino about an hour away.

LIke i said i usually don't play online, but i do occasionally. I usually play with my friends and my brothers friends and i usually win in those games. But on the days i wanna play and i can't get a live game i get my friend (who's 18) to send me money(and i pay him for it) from his account online and i play with it and if i win he gives me the money. but i don't really like to play online that much.
