Anyone watched these videos? Is the series any good? I'm looking for a (free atm) course to help further my poker studys. Can anyone recommend any other courses? I may pay for some in the future but for now I'm looking for a course to learn solid abc poker to put me on the way to consistantly beating the micros.

Ive also watched a fair few of blackrains videos on his own hand analysis. I find these very informative.

Here's a link to the videos for those who are interested.
https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/sloan-s...nd-analytics-january-iap-2015/lecture-videos/

I think this is very solid information about poker.
University style presentation... They really know what
they are talking about but it's not really entertaining....

But well worth the time in my opinion.

Thanks Kraemer, I will check it out for sure then. It does remind me of my uni days of extremely boring lectures but if it will help me with my game I think its worth suffering through!

a course of iron mtt from the Academy of Poker will give you a clear understanding of the game! I myself have recently passed this course! now they have a share and you can go through this course for free, but with conditions! the course is suitable for mtt and sng players!

One criterion that should be involved with these videos is the concept of `time value of money` or `what have you done for me lately`. Does the hook for the analysis portion address how much you should be earning per hour (for instance) as your skill level increases? As a newbie, I am in the negative end of the earning curve and would rather run the gauntlet of freerolls that paying for videos.
