Microgaming Re-Apply 13 State Ban

Some of you may be aware that not all of the Microgaming rooms have been strictly applying the 13 state US ban.

As it happens (due to the uncertainty of the situation), here at xxxxxx Poker, we have always advertised the rooms as adhering to the ban but i know that some of you that should be affected, have actually been able to play at Doyles Room for example.

As of today, Microgaming are making sure that all their rooms are honouring this ban and players with IP addresses in the affected states will be locked out.

I understand that accounts should still be honoured but i would advise anyone in doubt that belongs to one of the 13 states that they should probably withdraw any funds they have today.

The 13 banned states are :
District of Columbia
Illinois
Indiana
Louisiana
Michigan
Missouri
Nevada
New Jersey
New York
Oregon
South Dakota
Washington State
Wisconsin

*Note - Bizarrely, Kentucky is not on the list.

Guess I am out of touch, hadn't heard of the 13 state ban. Is it state law in those states? No internet poker? How crappy.
