So why 40K Buy In? Is it just so the real Poker Pros play in the event and eliminate any Donks?

Sure I'll par take in this event and the 40k buy-in event, and shit while I'm at it, might as well buy-in-to the 50k horse event:p .

Really who on here would dare buy-in-to any of these overly priced events?

If you're a mid/high stakes player, and you can get someone to buy a part of your action, its gotta be worth a shot. Supposedly the fields of the hold'em events especially are supposed to be wicked soft for a tournament of that high a buy in.

I'd definitely consider playing in the Stud 8, Stud Hi, and HORSE events, and maybe some of the 6-handed NLHE ones.

Guess this means no final table delay this year?

not necessarily. it would be awkward to phrase it any other way, considering the final table is just for one of the many events. they're probably not going to say may 26th - november 9th when it's only a select 9 players who would play beyond july. and adding a special notation for that one table makes it kind of bulky

that being said, i'm not sure. i know the ratings were way up, and i thought that everything was pointing in the direction of them doing it again. haven't read up on it though
