Hello everyone. I have issues to live playing poker at the right time. Usually I start with a small bankroll (15-20 $). Almost always I reach more than 100 $ in 3 or 4 hours. But I can't take a long enough brake to refresh myself, and I start to loose because i'm dizzy, and tournaments are still coming more attractive. Some good suggestions anyone? Thanks.

Stop playing when you're tired and "dizzy." Point blank, no questions asked. NEVER play when you get tired. I'm deflated after 6-8hrs even though i know i can pull 15-18. But why? For what? What am i trying to prove? Charging your battery doesnt work once that first wave of fatigue hits you.

Start a tourney on 10hrs of sleep and you'll be ok. If it's a cash game, dont extend yourself. Just get up and leave.

Get some sleep, atleast a nap. If yoy won't, you'll eventually notice that your play deteroriates. In my case, when I reach stage I am becoming careless, like stopping taking notes, I take a break until I really feel refreshed, but at least 30 mins. Also, if you really follow game and think, and pay attention, you'll feel fatigue much sooner, at least I do.

If you get tired and/or dizzy, you should definitely take a break, and a nap if you can, and maybe eat something. But be sure you start out Well rested and fed. Also drink lots of water. If you get dehydrated you can't think as clearly.

Well only after 3 or 4 hours you get dizzy? Sounds like a health problem are you borderline diabetic or your blood pressure out of wack? It might be as simple as going to the doc to get checked out. I know because I had the same thing going on and the doc straightened me out. Good luck with that.

Wow buy in bankroll 15-20 bucks must be live micro's interesting game im sure.

Anyone can work themselves to exhaustion. That's why there are laws for the workplace requiring breaks, etc. You are your own employer with poker, and you are your workforce in poker. You must properly manage your workforce to put out a good product, doesn't matter what you are doing. So, take care of yourself, and focus on feeling your best and playing your best, that is more important than putting in huge hours.

Best of luck!

Dude, if you consistently make $75 and then lose... Just stop when you're tired and be a winning player!

Yeah if you are getting tired/bored/tilted from playing so long then you basically just need to get up and leave. Book a win. Nothing more it to really.... booking a win is always best.

Sometimes I have the same problem. Some days I have a good profit, and instead of stopping and continue the next day, I still play and I end up losing! :(

We need to set yourself a rule that if you win a big pot you need to get away from this table, open a new one and start over.

Make it a new goal to always leave when you are ahead and definitely before you start feeling exhausted and dizzy. You sound like you are trying too hard to get more hours playing in, but poker is like any other sport. You want to play your best, so take breaks and play when you are in top shape. You will probably win more and be much more likely to enjoy playing. Also, you might want to consider going to a doctor and getting a check-up. Dizziness is a bit concerning. Gl!
