Making The Move To 50NL

Well, summer is officially here, finals are done, and I am going to be playing poker pretty seriously. Im thinkin 30+k hands a month 4-tabling (hopefully 6-tabling if I can get a new monitor). My bankroll currently stands at $1050, and although this is a little bit low for my liking to take on 50NL, I want to make the jump. I have set a limit that if I drop 5 buy-ins I will immediately move back down to 25NL, but Im hoping that doesnt happen. So any 50NL 6maxers expect to see me around the tables at pokerstars. Wish me luck and let me know if you have any tips about transitioning from the 25NL level to the 50NL level. So far, skill level doesn't seem that much different.

Don't neglect the rest of your life, but it sounds like a good plan overall.

So far so good, 1800 hands, up ~200 dollars. I just tried a 6-tabling session and did pretty good. It was a little hectic, but I think with some practice I could get the hang of it fairly easily. Ran at 3.5 PTBB/100 over 650 hands which is about 20 dollars an hour. Im hoping I can get up to ~5 or 6 PTBB/100 which would put my hourly win rate at around 30 dollars an hour 6 tabling. Seeing as how I make 8 dollars an hour at my current job, this would be some nice bonus money on the side.

50nl = .25/.50

oh lol, I swear I thought he meant 25/50 dollars, lol
