u need a Rio Rewards card, which is a different location than registration, obviously ID and money. If you go last minute it can take a while if you get unlucky, lines will be long

Every single entrant in the MAIN is required to have a Rio Rewards card??

Does that mean every entrant for every event in the wsop is required to have one?

If so, that's f*ed

not only that, you need a Rio Rewards card to play live or satellites or daily's as well- at WSOP, all Caesars casinos require a rewards card to play (at least) big event tourneys

That is standard in every casino on the strip. Not a big deal at all.

To answer OP - you do have the risk of your flight selling out. Why not register on Sunday?

I will admit that in terms of playing poker, I only ever seemed to stumble to my hotel's games and waste my time and effort there (it was Alladin's then Planet Hollywood)... the "free drinks" were nice considering how much I was dropping once by myself and once with a now ex crazy ass girlfriend.

We did a little bit of wandering around, checking out some "clubs" in our hotel and others, which were pretty weak IMO. We wandered over to Bellagio, because she wanted to see the fountains from every view (we were across the street and had a dead-on view of them from our hotel room but whatever) and I wanted to see some high-end poker. There was some sort of a halfway-decent poker event going on that was getting near an end (it was either FT or final 2). Daniel Negreanu looked over a couple times during the game and then standing up from the table waiting for another player to take forever to make a decision he stares blankly at her, winks and smiles. She is basically ALL over me while this happens. I kinda look at her, look at him, look at the poker timer and go "okay, time to go"... wasn't about to wait the 10 minutes until break to see where that could have gone. lol in hindsight, maybe I could have, he could have saved me a lifetime of headaches to come!
