I want to see that email:

Congrats, XXXXX, you finished the tournament #18392847592 in last place! Your account has been credited with $70.

Edit: Also, I took part in some satellites trying to get in to a couple miniFTOPS events, to no avail. Took 2nd in a 36 player SNG that offered one seat. And popped out 7th in an 80 player tourney that had 5 seats. Would have been cool.

hahaha, that's sick! Could you IMAGINE how many people will go in preflop with COMPLETE rags hoping to bust out. I'd go in with 2-7 half screaming for them to call fast so someone does not lose before me.

I wonder if this gives the better players a strategical edge. I mean, you can be quite sure a few people will get knocked out right on the first hand because of their dream of getting the 70 dollars.

Do they have to share the $70 if multiple people go out on the first hand? I mean chip stacks would be the same at this point so it would be a tie.

Interesting question. I don't think so. I think they take into consideration who actually gets knocked out first, since hands are dealt at different times on different tables. Although if two people from the same table are knocked out first, maybe it has something to do with who called the all in first, who bet first, etc. But when you look at tournament results, u never see two people sharing the same spot. So there has to be a way.

lol I would be very surprised if less than 1350 people entered the tournament, so I think it will just go with the classic that if you come last, you'll get nothing.
