I think you all make a mistake by assuming those types don't really have a clue.
There are peeps out there who do have big pockets. They can re-enter a gazillion times, so you need to avoid those types of tourneys.
Then there are folks with a short fuse, who are thinking they just don't want to putz all day for a few pennies, but somehow they took the time to register. Some of these folks had something happen to them between when they registered, and game start. They might know they can't finish the game but are not interested in being polite (by just sitting out). Some of those had some bad thing happen IRL and are taking it out on the game.
Some really don't have a clue. Some are very good players using a valid strategy (double up or bust fast). I think the clueless are the smallest sub group of all the various sub groups in any game.
You're job is to learn how to deal with the largest variety of these sub groups as you can.
