forgot how easy cash games were... lol
its sooo much better, Just hop in hop out whenever you like, play a few hands take a break,
every pot you win is yours to keep...
no cruel heart break on the bubble, not many all ins.

I use to prefer mtt but the gruelling hours are just not cool especially when you are playing well for so long for it to all be lost in one hand.

I think from here on in, 2 big tournaments a week and basically full time 50NL and the occasional 100NL.

anyone prefer sit n gos / mtts etc?

Cash games are great as long as you are winning but its cheaper to play MTTs and bigger hourly payout for cheaper if you win...However I do prefer cash although in real life the good opportunities come from tournaments

why would you ever start an mtt to have to sit-out after building up a stack for 2 hours? Hope you are referring to freerolls when your talking about this, even then, cause if not your just throwing money away to join a game and not have the time set out to be able to play it to 1st place.

Well it'd be harder to make a living on cash games because (at least in florida) it's not legal to play poker cash games live, or I think there's a law with a pot limit of like $10. So making a living here would be hard you'd have to grind the casinos a lot. I mean a deep run in a big tournament seems like the easiest way to hit it big but that's bit exactly easy either lol

cash game is more like work! less variance, big pot, small pot, after many hands u gain what u expect.

MTT is more fun, small loss, big wins, full of suprise....especially after u win a big jackbox.

would like to play some MTT if have time, think that is much fun. but play what u like most is very important.

Good luck.

When you play MTT,the must of the time you are unhappy. When you don't make the money, when you don't make the final table, when you are on final table end you don't WIN the tournament.
But when you WIN is just WOW.
I dont think that the cash game can provide the same emotion.
Thats way i play MTT.
Good luck

I also prefer MTTs..... it's not that cash games are harder for me. I enjoy what you just mentioned - you can come and go as you please, you can choose table with weak opponents... but to me cash games are not that much fun. In tourney I feel like I have a goal to reach, but in cash game I soon get bored and then usually do something stupid lol. I used to play SNGs quite a lot, but I mostly turned to these games only due to lack of free time.

Isn't there Anti-America forums out there somewhere? Like maybe you could go join one of those and leave here?

I hate hate hate cash games. Took all of last week off to read and watch videos on 6max cash. Started playing strictly 25nl cash today. Was up $60 in about 4 hours. Went to lunch with my wife and came back and lost $90 in about 3 hours. I prefer MTTs cause I think it's easier for me to lose chips as opposed to losing real cash on any given hand.

thats the thing that kills me about mtt's as well once you sit down at one you have a time commitment to play the whole thing out.. a cash game you can stand up whenever you like.. i hate the feeling of mtt's after a while too its such a grind

sorry didn't know you disliked people who love the usa

I neither like nor dislike people that dislike the USA. I do, however, like people that dislike you, bernotas22 ... Somehow, and I would have said it wasn't possible, you are approaching Paler territory. PLEASE don't go there!

I primarily play cash games, but like to also play MTT's to mix it up. In cash games you can win and lose fast. I like that you can stop and start when you want, move up/down in stakes and change tables. I feel that you have a lot more freedom and control.

MTT's can be a grind, but can be also be a thrill. I love playing when you are the money and every emotion is magnified.

cash games gives more freedom but MTT gives thrill and a target that you have to reach that rank to win cash prices. Also you can win big from a small buyin.

Agree with you and above poster you cant get the same emotion and I do get more excitement playing mtt's . but like with regards to the big money I've gotten close alot of times missed out 5k to 12k
after leading the way over an hour or so and getting sickly coolered and beleive it or not for the best part, its normally a cooler that finishes you off.

for me it gets me down and puts me on tilt or leaves me frustrated if I come out like even after deserving to have taken a good cash.

I handle cash alot better, because I can control my losses, Its very rare I lose a buy in it normally break even or profitable every single day
