So, simple question.

Looking at headed to either of the two places for about 10 days in February with a group of us just for poker.

Aside from cost of flights and rooms (Cos macau wins in that department for Aussies), where would you rather go for poker?

We're talking $2/$5 and $5/$10 stakes (Not sure what the closest stakes are in HKD for Macau, but you get the idea), as well as tournaments and sit n go's etc etc.

Where would you rather play and stay, and why?

I have not played in Macau, but do remember reading some pretty high minimums on standard casino games much higher than the Vegas minimums and all I have heard about the poker seen there is the high limit games so I just get the impression that Macau is a pretty expensive place. I have not been to anywhere in Asia since the 88 Olympics but if I were planning a trip it would be Macau to check it out but I am from the USA so I can hit Vegas any time. If I were going just to play poker I would be headed to Vegas just to keep concentration and avoid culture shock. I will be keeping an eye on this thread because I would love to hear from someone who has been to Macau for poker. Good Luck. :)
